MSI X79 Motherboards break 7 Ivy Bridge-E World Records


After the release of MSI’s X79 BIOS with support for the 4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 Processors (codenamed Ivy Bridge-E) in August and the launch of the 4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 Processors in September it was bound to happen; hardware performance world records getting shattered. Besides breaking the Intel® Core™ i7-4960X wPrime 1024m record, the X79A-GD45 Plus was also able to set new highest frequency settings for all the 3 new 4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 Processors, including an amazing 6.5 GHz on the Intel® Core™ i7-4930K.
